Postal Services
Post Offices provide a full offering of postal services. They sell stamps and parcel postage with a lot of options to suit your needs including Standard, Registered, Courier and Express Post, as well as secure international postage services. Social Services
Post Offices pay out Social Protection payments to 800,000 people every week. Customers can pay motor fines, TV licences and renew of their Passport. Financial Services
Customers can avail of BillPay for over 100 different types of household bills. Post Offices provide State savings (NTMA), local banking for AIB, Danske Bank and Ulster Bank customers, (Bank of Ireland services coming soon in some communities) insurance products (Post Insurance), life assurance, foreign exchange and Western Union money transfer. Though unquantifiable – it is widely acknowledged that using the Post Office helps people to manage their incomes and that an active Post Office has a positive influence on business in the community.
